Enhanced 64 Channel Digital Output Board With Both High Voltage and TTL Outputs

Beyond Electronics, a technology leader providing rugged, real-time computing solutions to OEMs and system integrators, has introduced a new version of the highly capable DO-64 digital output board. The board comes standard with a total of 64 outputs. However, the new version features a factory configurable selection, in sets of eight, of high voltage/current or TTL output channels. A default selection of 32 TTL and 32 high performance channels is available as off the shelf product. The feature rich board is particularly suited to rugged, critical applications, but the highly optimized design is still low cost.

The high voltage channels can operate while switching up to 55 Volts DC. Each channel is a fully independent solid state relay. Voltage isolation is 1 KVrms channel to VMEbus and 500 Vrms channel to channel.

All channels, both high voltage and TTL, power on to the same state. One of the key features of the board is the safety cutoff. A separate input is provided that enables an external device to turn off all outputs. A built in test feature is also provided in the board that allows the board to be put into a local loopback mode to check the registers, local connectivity without changing the outputs and the VMEbus interface.

The board is available for extended temperature operation of -40 to +80C. It is shipping in production and available now.
